Jonas Hiller is a Swiss goaltender playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL. After
starting his career with 4 strong seasons in the Swiss NLA, Hiller was signed by the
Ducks in 2007. He made his first start later that year defeating the Los Angeles Kings 4-
1.
Hiller was named the Duck’s starter for the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs and recorded a
shutout in his first playoff start. His play helped defeat the President’s Cup winning San
Jose Sharks in 6 games. After losing to the defending champion Detroit Redwings in a
heartbreaking 7 game series, the Duck’s signed Hiller to a 4-year deal solidifying his
